He is a representative inheritor of Wang Xingji fan, a national intangible cultural heritage, a master of traditional Chinese crafts, a master of Arts and crafts in Zhejiang Province, and a leader of sun Yaqing fan making skill master studio in Zhejiang Province. He has won "the third salary transmission Award for inheritors of Chinese intangible cultural heritage and Zhejiang craftsman Award".
He was fond of fan art since he was a child. He had the talent of making fan by hand. He studied hard and learned a lot. After more than 40 years of experience in fan art, he has accumulated profound traditional fan art skills and rich creative experience. He is proficient in fan bone and fan craft design, picture art creation and fan appreciation, and is good at sandalwood fan production. He is good at research, development and innovation of all kinds of fans, and has become a senior expert in fan industry. His works have won the gold and silver awards of national, provincial and Municipal Arts and crafts and tourist souvenirs for many times, and have been selected into China Arts and crafts exhibition, one hundred masters and one hundred fine arts and crafts exhibition, etc. It also represents Chinese crafts in performing and technical exchanges in the United States, Spain, Germany, Russia, Switzerland, Japan, Hong Kong and other countries and regions.
